The Department of Radiation Oncology, Indiana University School of Medicine, is seeking a BE/BC Radiation Oncologist with an academic orientation. In addition to accredited radiation oncology residency and radiation therapy technology programs, the department has active clinical programs in brachytherapy, pediatric radiotherapy, total skin electron irradiation, total body irradiation and Gamma Knife radiosurgery. Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy has been a major research thrust of the department.
Cancer and Radiation Biology and Research Physics add to the research capabilities of the department. Scheduled to be complete in 2008, Indiana University is currently building a new multi-million dollar hospital dedicated to cancer care and research. Adjoining the current Radiation Oncology department, this hospital will add two new treatment vaults and new technologies to expand our reputation as a state of the art facility.
