Pediatric Cardiology-Critical Care, Electrophysiology and Clinical Research

Positions are available on the clinical or tenure track.  The Department of Pediatrics, with 250 faculty members, has doubled in size in the last seven years.  Our faculty provides clinical service at Riley Hospital for Children (a 260 bed pediatric subspecialty referral institution with a  $350 million addition under construction), Wishard Hospital (the county hospital on the IU Medical Center campus), Methodist Hospital (a large community-based hospital one mile from Riley) and Clarian North (a new suburban hospital). The pediatric department has subspecialty offices on the north and south sides of Indianapolis and in five cities throughout Indiana.  The department ranks #18 in the country in NIH funding.

RileyHospitalfor Children is among the five largest Pediatric residencies in the nation and among the top 20 pediatric research programs nationally.  Riley Hospital for Children and the Indiana University School of Medicine are located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis, which is the 12^th largest city in the United States with a population of 1.7 million.

Clarian Health Partners is a physician and hospital system serving Indiana.  Clarian is comprised of nearly two thousand physicians throughout Indiana and 11 hospital systems. 

These hospitals include Methodist Hospital, Indiana University Hospital, Riley Hospital for Children, Clarian West Medical Center, Clarian North Medical Center, La Porte Regional, Goshen Health System, Bedford Regional Medical Center, Tipton Hospital, Decatur County Memorial Hospital and Union Hospital.
