Founded in 1927 and 1938 respectively, Kent General Hospital and Milford Memorial Hospital merged in January 1997 to form Bayhealth Medical Center – a not-for-profit healthcare organization. This is the second largest healthcare system in the state of Delaware. Kent General Hospital is a 231-bed, Level III trauma center with a service population of approximately 100,000 residents. The Emergency Department is fully equipped and has 21 beds with a 5-bed Fast Track. This includes a large 4-bed trauma room, OB/Gyn, cardiac, orthopedic, ENT and pediatrics.

Qualifications:
All physicians must be board-eligible and residency-trained in Emergency Medicine or board-certified in Emergency Medicine.
