We are currently seeking qualified full-time and part-time or administrative roll Emergency Physicians for the Emergency Department at Alton Memorial Hospital, located in Alton, Illinois. The 17-bed Emergency Department provides emergency care to over 40,000 patients each year. There is also a Fast Track for non-urgent cases.

Alton Memorial Hospital is a 222-bed facility affiliated with the BJC Health System. The hospital employs over 225 medical staff members and provides a full range of quality medical and surgical services, as well as education and prevention programs. In 2010 a 78,000 square foot patient wing will be completed. This wing will house 76 private patients’ rooms and be a major addition to the healthcare needs of residents in the greater Alton area. Candidates must be board-eligible or board-certified in Emergency Medicine or a Primary Care Specialty with Emergency Medicine experience.
