The Emergency Department currently sees 27,000 visits per year, with a greater than 20% admission rate. The newly renovated Emergency Department consists of 23 acute, adult-care beds, most in private rooms. Adult ambulatory patients and acute care admissions are the most common patients seen. The majority of the nursing staff works 12-hour rotations. All medical specialties are represented except for a PICU.
