The hospital’s medical staff consists of a respected team of approximately 200 talented and skilled physicians representing more than 35 specialties. Some of our exceptional areas of medical service include orthopedics, urology, oncology, pulmonology, surgical services, vascular treatment, sleep medicine, and nationally-certified rehabilitation programs.

Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital offers physicians unlimited opportunities to establish and grow a solid medical practice; to acquaint and learn about the region’s people and specific health concerns; and to teach and interact with exceptional healthcare students training at such institutions as the University of Kentucky, Pikeville School of Osteopathic Medicine, and Kentucky Christian College.

OLBH is a Teaching Facility

As a member of the Appalachian Osteopathic Postgraduate Training Consortium, OLBH serves as a teaching facility for graduates of osteopathic schools of medicine. Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital offers future physicians an American Osteopathic Association Internship program and a fully-accredited Family Practice Residency program. In fact, the first class will complete medical training in 2004.
