Metro Health has contracts with several nursing homes/facilities and a PACE program, where the physician can participate as Medical Director. In addition, Metro Health is contracted to provide medical services to the local Michigan Home for Veterans with 800 patients.

Metro Health Hospital is a 238-bed general acute care & teaching hospital affiliated with Michigan State University. We have 350+ physicians in the Metro Health System. The Metropolitan Health Corp. includes the hospital, a 50-member primary care physician group; a Medicaid HMO, a Physician Hospital Organization (PHO) made up of 165 area physicians; and primary care outpatient centers called Metro Health Plazas.
Due to extraordinary growth and financial success over the past several years, the hospital plans to move from its current location into a brand new facility this September 2007.
