Brodstone Memorial Hospital (BMH)  is a 25-bed acute care critical access hospital providing excellent healthcare services to people living in South Central Nebraska and North Central Kansas.   BMH’s Imaging Department provides a full range of diagnostic imaging.  Services include: computed tomography (CT), ultrasound, x-ray, mammography, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), bone density, and Doppler and echo.  Our physical, occupational, and speech therapists are trained to treat and prevent disability for patients of all ages and diagnosis including: birth defects; athletic injuries; stroke; and work-related injuries.  The BMH Surgery Department consists of two major operating rooms and an endoscopy suite equipped with the latest technology and staffed by anesthesia and surgery personnel who are available 24-hours a day. The department is utilized by our consulting specialists, as well as our local healthcare providers. After construction was completed in 2005, the expanded area for surgery has allowed the list of available surgical procedures to increase. The following is a list of specialties represented at BMH each month: Cardiology; Ear, Nose & Throat; Gastroenterology; General Surgery; Obstetrics and Gynecology; Oncology, Opthamology; Orthopedics; Nephrology; Pulmonology; Radiology; Urology; and Vascular.

Family Medicine Physician – OB

Brodstone Memorial Hospital is actively recruiting a Family Medicine Physician, wishing to do OB, to join a clinic with a solid patient base in rural Superior, Nebraska. 

 

The ideal candidate will be BE/BC in Family Medicine and must be willing to do OB.  C-sections are a plus, but not mandatory.

Superior is located in Nuckolls County - a progressive rural, agricultural community. The County’s 5,400 residents take great pride in caring for their corner of the world. The county seat is located in Nelson – 13 miles north of Superior.  Superior has a very active Chamber of Commerce. With over 125 members, the Chamber is a great networking source for area businesses.  Superior Public Schools, K-12, is designated as a Nebraska Class C2 school and has an excellent academic reputation.   Lovewell Lake State Park, seven miles south of Superior, is a great place for fishing, camping and just relaxing. Lake amenities includes a marina, boat ramps, boat rentals, camping with electrical hook-ups, picnic shelters, play ground, and cabins.  The Superior County Club has a beautiful nine-hole, grass green, course. Cart rentals are available and golfers are invited to relax in the Club House after a challenging round of golf.
