DayKimball Hospital is a Level Three Trauma Center that has facilitated in healthcare needs since 1894.  Day Kimball, with its specialized healthcare affiliate, the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, MA, serves the healthcare needs of over 80,000 residents in northeastern CT and nearby MA and RI.  It was the first healthcare network in the state of Connecticut to provide inpatient, home health, homemaker, hospice, and respiratory home care services within one, coordinated system. 

For patients with minor, non-urgent injuries or illnesses, the hospital’s Prompt Care program provides prompt, quality medical care while greatly reducing the time spent in the Emergency Department.  Prompt Care has separate treatment areas within the Emergency Department for faster evaluation and treatment, and is staffed with Physician assistants and Nurse Practitioners.

Requirements:

Full-time Emergency Medicine Physicians (Board Certified in a Primary Care Specialty, and 2 years of current EM experience)
