We are merging two established residency programs in a diverse community on Chicago’s near northwest side.  The newly reconfigured 12-12-12 community-based, university affiliated program, will be the largest unopposed program in the city.  Present faculty are committed and collegial, with diverse interests but common goals.  We are seeking a full-time, energetic board-certified family physician to join us as the Director of Geriatrics.  CAQ desirable, but experience also weighed heavily.  Responsible for implementing block and longitudinal curricula for the new program as well as coordinating nursing home experience.  Qualifications should include teaching and administrative experience, and an interest in curriculum development.  OB experience a plus though not required.  We offer a competitive compensation package.
