Faculty Position for Family Practice Residency Program Needed
Strong 9-9-9 dually accredited Family Medicine Residency with over 35-year history is seeking a board-certified Osteopathic family physician to join our existing faculty of seven. The practice of OB is highly desirable but negotiable. The physician will serve as the DME and Program Director for the Osteopathic portion of this program. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a favorable malpractice climate and in a hospital-sponsored outreach clinic. There is a very strong global health focus among residents, a strong Sports Medicine Fellowship (affiliated with the University of Notre Dame) and a friendly Osteopathic climate. A new, world-class $355 million facility with integrated hospital/clinic EMR is scheduled to open in the Fall of 2009.
Applicant must be a member in good standing of the AOA, as well as the AODME (or eligible) and have successfully completed an approved AOA intership. OMT knowledge and experience in practicing OMT in a clinical setting are required while dual board certification (ABFM & ABOFP), a command of Spanish and experience within the specialty are desired.
