AVERA MARSHALL REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER
Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center is a 49-bed municipal hospital with a 10-bed inpatient Behavioral Health Unite and a 76-bed skilled care nursing home and home health agency. The hospital provides a full range of inpatient and outpatient services, including comprehensive diagnostic imaging, CT scanning, MRI, ultrasound, mammography, nuclear medicine, and a full service laboratory. Emergency care is offered 24/7, with an on-call physician present, treating 500-600 patients per month. Surgical specialties include ENT, Endoscopy, General Surgery, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, Podiatry and Urology. Anesthesia services include general, regional (spinal and epidural), pain management via epidural steroids, and IV sedation. The critical care unit has been upgraded to provide eICU monitoring with Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. Inpatient and outpatient rehab services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and cardiac rehabilitation. ACMC has two clinic locations. The main clinic is attached to the hospital and the Market Street Clinic was added in 2001 to serve this growing community. The Medical Staff consists of 11 Family Practitioners, 1 Internists, 2 OB/GYNs, 1 Pediatrician, and 1 General Surgeon.
