Roanoke-Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie is seeking a BC/BE IM or IM/Peds Hospitalist to join its staff.  The program provides 24/7 Hospitalist services for five primary care practices including seven physicians and five mid-level providers. 

The block schedule is 7 days on, 7 days off with an average inpatient census of 25.  Competitive salary with full benefits including paid vacation, sick leave, holidays and malpractice coverage with tail.     

Ahoskie is a convenient, easy one-hour drive south of Newport News, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach.  This area is rich in native-American, colonial and antebellum history.  Ahoskie is located between the headwaters of Roanoke and Chowan Rivers, just north of the Albemarle Sound.
