As part of a team, child/adolescent psychiatrists manage patients within two acute inpatient units (one peds unit and one adolescent unit) and two day treatment programs. There are opportunities to teach medical students and residents as adjunct faculty. 

The team on inpatient (hospitalist) psychiatrists work collaboratively to manage patients within the acute setting and day treatment programs. An average census for each c/a psychiatrists is approximately 12 patients.
