Rutherford Pediatrics seeks a 5th Pediatrician with the approaching retirement of their Senior partner.  This longstanding practice continues to offer quality, traditional pediatric care to a general population of 70,000 lives.  With a satelite office in Forest City, Rutherford Pediatrics makes it convenient for patient families to obtain medical care.  In the Rutherfordton office which is on the Hospital campus, the doctors maintain limited Saturday and Sunday clinic hours for those emergency needs as well as those families unable to make office visits in traditional times.

Call will be 1:5.  Average age of the physicians is about 40.  This practice will offer a competitive salary, health and malpractice insurance, CME allowance, partnership options and more.  Additionally, the Hospital will assist in some financial incentives that include relocation and student loan assistance.  The Hospital boasts a very modern facility with a Birth Place that was constructed in 2002.  Neonatals are stabilized and airlifted to Asheville, NC typically.
