Premier Health Care Services is seeking ABEM or AOBEM certified Emergency Medicine physicians for two positions in Charleston, West Virginia: a combined clinical/academic Core EM Faculty role and a straight clinical role are available. Both positions are open to allopathic or osteopathic physicians.

Charleston Area Medical Center is West Virginia’s premiere medical teaching facility.  The Osteopathic Emergency Medicine residency program began July 1, 2007 with five residents.  The PGY 4 program joined the roster of established graduate medical education programs within the CAMC Health System. The system includes both Osteopathic and Allopathic residency programs; established programs include Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Family Medicine, Surgery and OB/GYN. The system also encompasses several allied health education programs.
 

This 893-bed system includes three hospital locations: The General Division, which includes one of the nation’s busiest Level I trauma centers; the Memorial Division, which is home to one of the top ten heart programs in the U.S.; and Women & Children’s Hospital.

As West Virginia’s largest city, Charleston offers the advantages of both urban and country living.
