St. John's Mercy Hospital, a member of the Sisters of Mercy Health System-St. Louis, is a 187-bed, Level III Trauma Center with approximately 32,500 emergency visits annually and a low admission rate. Shifts are scheduled for nine to eleven hours and there is multiple coverage at all times. A diverse patient mix is drawn from five rural counties and presents a broad range of acuity, including 33% pediatric cases. Excellent general, trauma and orthopedic surgery support is available, with MRI and CT scan capabilities on site.
Candidates must be board-certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine or Primary Care with experience in Emergency Medicine.
