Physicians Emergency Care Associated (PECA) is seeking ED physicians who have completed an emergency medicine residency to work in the emergency departments of the Methodist Health System located in Dallas, Texas. Methodist Health System is independently owned and operates three full service medical centers.

Dedicated fast tracks staffed by mid-levels, EMR documentation, PACS digital radiology and hospitalist programs are at all three medical centers

Methodist Dallas Medical Center is located near downtown Dallas and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 60,000 visits annually. The emergency department provides medical direction for the Dallas County EMS. CareFlite helicopter is home-based at Methodist Dallas Medical Center sharing trauma call with two other major teaching institutions in the Dallas area. Methodist Dallas is a teaching facility with IM, GS and OB/GYN residency programs rotating through the emergency department. There is significant trauma patient load and high acuity. 36 hours of physician coverage daily/3-12 hours shifts; double physician coverage 1200-2400.

Methodist Charlton Medical Center is located south of Interstate 20 in a suburban setting (near Cedar Hill). Our ED has a high volume (60,000 visits annually) mixed population with a majority of high acuity patients. Methodist Charlton is also a teaching facility with a FP program rotating in the emergency department. 36 hours of physician coverage daily/3-12 hours shifts; double physician coverage 1100-2300.

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center is a 88-bed facility located in a small, but growing suburban setting south of Interstate 20 in Tarrant County. 30 hours of physician coverage daily/3-10 hour shifts; overlapping physician coverage 1400-2400.

You must be either Board Certified or board prepared in Emergency Medicine. Our physicians are employed as independent contractors. Positions are full or part-time. We offer a competitive salary, paid malpractice coverage and relocation assistance.
