The Department of Pediatrics at Indiana University School of Medicine and Riley Hospital for Children is seeking a dynamic clinician and clinical researcher at the Associate Professor or Professor level to head its excellent division of Pediatric Pulmonology, Critical Care and Allergy. The Division currently contains 33 full-time faculty physicians and maintains top ranked programs in pediatric asthma, cystic fibrosis, pediatric sleep medicine, infant lung disease, pediatric critical care and basic research into developmental biology of the airways.
Candidates are sought who have a history of solid leadership in program development in the areas of pediatric pulmonology or pediatric critical care, as well as a strong record of successful management of clinical care and clinical research programs. The division head must be eligible for an Indiana medical license and be certified in Pediatrics and either Pulmonology or Critical Care Medicine. We have recently been ranked the number 5 Pediatric Pulmonology Program in the country by Parents Magazine and have a reputation for excellence around the state. The Department of Pediatrics is committed to finding an excellent leader for the section so as to continue its national prominence in the field.
