Allergist

Henry Ford Health System, one of the nation’s leading comprehensive health systems, providing acute, primary and preventive care services, is seeking an Allergist to join our Division of Allergy and Immunology in the Department of Internal Medicine.

We are seeking certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine or American Board of Pediatrics in addition to certification or eligibility by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. The position entails clinical evaluation of both adult and pediatric patients, active participation in the division’s fellowship training program and contribution to ongoing research efforts focusing on the epidemiologic aspects of allergic and immunologic disorders.

Opportunities for academic appointment at Wayne State University are available. Prior research experience and the ability to obtain additional research funding to advance ongoing projects investigating allergic and immunological disorders is preferred.

The practice is based out of Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and the newly open Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital, both offering a strong clinical practice environment with leading edge science and technology.  The Department is backed by excellence in research, education and a collaborative practice with the other specialties in the 1,000-physician Henry Ford Medical Group.

If you should have in interest in this opportunity or know someone whom may have, please forward a CV via e-mail to Edward Zoratti, M.D. Division Head of Allergy and Immunology, c/o jfedder1@hfhs.org or fax (313) 874-4677.

Our large academic enterprise places us in the top three of traditionally independent group practices through:

Our scale and scope are in the 99th percentile of all group practices, with visit volumes larger than most group practices. Our specialty Centers of Excellence are national leaders as well, providing advanced tertiary and quaternary care with a focus on discovery and innovation.
