Iowa Health Physicians, Iowa's largest primary care physician group, is recruiting for a board eligible/board certified Family Practitioner to join an established thriving practice in Southeast Iowa. 

This position provides the full scope of family practice, both inpatient and outpatient services, to a patient base of nearly 80,000.  Providers see on average 20-25 outpatients per day and 1-5 inpatients.  Located in a designated medically underserved area with a high volume of geriatric patients.  

Local hospital offers full spectrum of diagnostic radiology, laboratory and ancillary services.  Cancer center with chemotherapy and radiation therapy on-site, cardiac cath lab scheduled to open Summer 2010.  Local active medical staff of 60+ physicians representing 30 medical specialties.  Opportunity to participate as a preceptor for medical students. 

Call schedule:  3-4 times per month
Clinic hours:  Monday-Friday; 8am - 5pm
