The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking BC/BE physiatrists who have an interest in inpatient work/consult service. The inpatient/consult faculty position will oversee our general/medically complex inpatient rehabilitation service line. The inpatient service admits patients with heart, lung, liver, and kidney transplants as well as those with limb amputations or debility from prolonged hospital stays. Additionally, this faculty member will work to grow our acute hospital inpatient consultative service at both the main OSU medical center as well as at OSU East Hospital. Both services are core residency rotations, and the faculty member will have the opportunity to work with medical students as well. Our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department is ranked #1 in Columbus and #33 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. Newsweek has ranked Ohio State Dodd Rehabilitation Hospital as #1 in Ohio. Additionally, our residency program is ranked 20th through Doximity Residency Navigator. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with professional experience and qualifications.
