Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Hospitalist Opportunity
IHA, St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor and St. Joseph Mercy Livonia have an excellent full time employment opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant located in Ann Arbor and Livonia, Michigan.
The selected Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will collaborate with the physician and other health care professionals to provide medical services including direct patient care, medical record documentation and follow-up care to IHA Hospital Medicine patients. The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will operate within the standards of care and scope of practice as defined by the State of Michigan.
The selected candidate will take part in the night schedules at both St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor and St. Mary Mercy Livonia. The shifts for this opportunity are 10:00 pm – 8:00 am in Ann Arbor and 4:00 pm – 2:00 am, 5:00 pm – 3:00 am and 9:00 pm – 7:00 am in Livonia. The provider will be responsible for 188 shifts per year with 80% of the time spent in Ann Arbor and 20% in Livonia.
Minimum required qualifications:
- Successful completion of an accredited NP/PA program
- NP/PA Certification
- State of Michigan License
