Nurse Practitioner - Psychiatry - Addiction Opportunity
St. Peter's Health Partners has an excellent employment opportunity for a certified and licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join St. Peter’s Addiction Recovery Center (SPARC) located in Albany, New York.
This is a full time employment opportunity providing care to the Addiction Medicine population in Outpatient Clinic settings throughout Albany. The selected provider will be a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team and provide medical leadership with collaboration of a Psychiatrist. Responsibilities will include conducting initial psychiatric evaluation and mental health assessment, psychiatric medication management, and crisis intervention as needed. They will also be responsible for medical charting utilizing the EMR system. They will implement the nursing process to diagnose and treat human responses to actual or potential problems of individual and families.
Requirements for this opportunity include:
- Successful completion of an NP program
- NP Certification
- Master’s Degree
- State of New York License
- Board Certified in Psychiatry
- Practice experience as a Nurse Practitioner

St. Peter's Addiction Recovery Center (SPARC) offers individuals and families a comprehensive range of care and services for people affected by drug or alcohol abuse.
