Inpatient & Outpatient PM&R NP/PA Needed in Central Minnesota!
CentraCare, based in St. Cloud, Minnesota, is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Group (PM&R).
This position offers the variety of working both in the clinic and hospital settings. Hours will be Monday through Friday day hours, with a weekend and holiday call rotation of 1:4; the weekend rotation will consist of rounding in the St. Cloud Hospital on Saturday and taking call on Sunday.
While in clinic workflow will include follow-up visits for patients who have been on the inpatient rehab unit as well as patients with orthopaedic injuries, spine-related pain and dysfunction, occupational injuries and overuse syndromes, neurogenic bowel/bladder, pressure sore management, spasticity management, and other chronic pain disorders. In this role, you will evaluate patients for appropriate injection therapies, including epidural steroid injections, facet injections, and trigger point injections. When in clinic, Advanced Practice Providers always have physicians available for consult, but otherwise function independently.
Our inpatient rehabilitation unit is a 20-bed unit at the St. Cloud Hospital. We are certified by the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and are ranked in the top 10 percent in the nation for patient satisfaction by Press Ganey. While in the hospital, you will care for patients who have had strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and major orthopedic injuries. Your job will include helping with consults, admissions, daily progress notes, discharges, and medical management. Typical patient issues you will manage include pain, spasticity, neurogenic bowel and bladder, hypertension, diabetes, depression, sleep, and cognitive dysfunction.
The PM&R Department is an integral specialty within our comprehensive Neuroscience Program, which includes the services of Neurology, Neurosurgery, Pain Medicine, Stroke and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.

To be considered for our position you need to:
- Have a current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license and be eligible for Minnesota licensure
Our ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience working as a NP/PA in PM&R (inpatient or outpatient)
In addition, all applicants must have a current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider card and Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration number prior to receiving clinical privileges.
