Do you have what is takes?

• Minimum of two (2) years Advanced Practitioner experience required
• Critical Care, Cardiology, Acute Care experience strongly preferred
• Ability to obtain NP/PA license in the state of Georgia
• Board Certification via NCCPA for Physician Assistants
• Board Certification via ACNP (Acute Care) or AGACNP required for Nurse Practitioners
• Proficiency in applying advanced concepts, principles and advanced clinical techniques in an inpatient environment

• Collaboratively functions as an Advanced Practitioner with board certified Cardiologists and other clinical staff by providing leadership and incorporating the role of clinical expert, role model, consultant, educator and practitioner, in conjunction with providing clinical expertise to patients, families, colleagues and other clinical staff via direct or indirect patient care. AP also collaborates  in conducting comprehensive health assessments, to manage acute, chronic, and complex patients by assessing, evaluating, developing and implementing high quality patient care plans.
• The  ideal  candidate will possess a mature, warm and patient personality with a passion for Cardiology. Flexibility and compassionate bedside manner are essential. Must be progressive-minded, self-starter who takes initiative while working collaboratively with supervising physician(s) and other clinical staff.
