Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Memphis is an 80-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital that offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services designed to return patients to leading active and independent lives. This hospital is a joint venture between Encompass Health and Methodist Healthcare and is connected to Methodist University via a walkway over Union Avenue.

In addition to caring for general rehabilitation diagnoses such as orthopedic, cardiac, pulmonary, medical-surgical patients, Encompass Health Memphis has specialized inpatient programs for stroke, spinal cord injury and brain injury patients.

• Three hours of therapy, five days per week
• 24/7 nursing care, including nurses who specialize in rehabilitation
• Frequent visits from a physician*
