Ashtabula is a beautiful area located on lake Erie in NE, Ohio. It has been a great port city for excellent docks and shipping and utilized for many years. There are constant beautiful views along the lake. Historically it has always been called sunset city, and indeed it is gorgeous in the evening as the sun sets over the lake. Along this section of the coast many people travel to Ashtabula to go ice fishing. They are rewarded with Walleye and fresh Perch.
