Lincoln Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med-Surg department in a full-time position.
The basic purpose of this position is to manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and health system policies and procedures.
_*Essential Functions:*_
* Assesses and diagnoses patient and family needs to provide quality care to assigned patients.
* Develops, discusses, and communicates a realistic plan of care for each patient, in collaboration with each patient/significant other in order to address all identified needs.
* Demonstrates the skills and judgment necessary to implement obstetrical plan of care, nursing interventions, and procedures, teaching of and communication with patient and support person(s).
* Evaluate the identified problems, care provided, and patient's responses are reassessed to meet patient and family needs and assure overall quality of care delivered.
* Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided to endure the integration of information for use by the healthcare team, to ensure quality care.
* Performs all responsibilities/duties required by the unit/med-surg division as specific to the scope of service to ensure that the unique nature of the client is addressed.

* Full-time
* 6:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
* 6:30 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.
* Sunday - Saturday
* Weekend rotation
_*Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications and Skills:*_
* State of Tennessee licensure (or eligible) as a Registered Nurse
* CPR certification required
* ACLS preferred
