*Part-Time Physical Therapist (PT) - Hiawassee Clinic*
*Job Summary:*
We are seeking a dedicated part-time Physical Therapist to join our team at our Hiawassee clinic, providing hands-on patient care in a dynamic clinical setting. The PT will manage a caseload of patients per day, delivering individualized treatment plans that support functional recovery and patient goals.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide hands-on therapy.
* Guide and educate patients through prescribed exercises and functional activities.
* Utilize therapeutic modalities such as manual therapy, gait training, traction, hydrotherapy, laser, ultrasound, and other rehabilitation techniques.
* Document patient progress in the EMR system on the day of service.
* Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and caregivers to ensure continuity of care.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to OSHA and infection-control policies.
* Build relationships with local physicians through clinic visits and networking opportunities.
* Participate in injury prevention workshops, patient education seminars, and outreach efforts as needed.
*Qualifications:*
* Doctorate or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
* Active Georgia PT license (or eligibility to obtain).
* Strong manual therapy skills and experience working in a clinical setting.
* Ability to manage a steady caseload of 10-12 patients daily while delivering high-quality care.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster patient relationships.
