*Job Summary*
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Register Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, particularly in settings focused on hospice palliative medicine, geriatrics, and trauma medicine. As a Nurse you will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care tailored to their individual needs.
*Responsibilities*
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
* Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the supervising nurse.
* Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding patients.
* Provide specialized care for patients requiring tube feeding, catheter care, and dementia care.
* Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with ICD-9 coding standards.
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
* Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.
* Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
*Experience*
* Current RN/ LPN license in good standing.
* Previous experience in geriatrics is preferred.
* Competency in basic life support techniques is required.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
