*Responsibilities*
* Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
* Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate recommendations for treatment.
* Maintain accurate medical records using Dentrix systems, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
* Assist in the preparation of treatment rooms and sterilization of instruments, adhering to aseptic techniques.
* Conduct medical imaging procedures as needed to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
* Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and optimal patient experience.
* Review documentation for accuracy and completeness before submitting for billing or insurance purposes.
*Skills*
* Proficiency in using dental office management software such as Dentrix
* Strong understanding of medical records management and documentation review processes.
* Experience with medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.
* Knowledge of aseptic technique practices to maintain a safe clinical environment. .
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and team members effectively.
* Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
