The position also affords the opportunity to precept pharmacy students and residents and shape patient quality initiatives by serving on a variety of hospital and medical staff committees. More than 36,000 patients visit Salina Regional's ED each year presenting a wide breadth of urgent and critical care scenarios.

We are currently looking for an Emergency Department Pharmacist to join our team of compassionate providers dedicated to improving the lives of the patients we serve as we expand our current clinical emergency pharmacy services.
*Facility Overview:* Salina Regional Health Center is a comprehensive acute care hospital with a diverse medical staff of more than 150 physicians that serves as a regional referral center for many primary and advanced care services. The hospital is a Level III Trauma Center with 24/7 neurosurgical coverage and is accredited as a Primary Stroke Center.
In a community of 50,000, with a draw from a wide region, Salina offers many big city amenities in a small town atmosphere. We also are home to the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Salina, Smoky Hill Family Medicine Residency Program, a PGY-1 pharmacy residency program and serve as a clinical training site for many other specialties within the field of health care.
*Pharmacy Overview:* Salina Regional Health Center operates a full-service 24/7 inpatient pharmacy. Pharmacy services provided include IV admixture service, chemotherapy service, decentralized clinical monitoring and intervention, inpatient and outpatient medication education, pharmacokinetic dosing service, TPN management, code blue and trauma attendance and education to nurses and physicians. In addition to our emergency department, decentralized pharmacists provide clinical services on our critical care, cardiology, internal medicine, and oncology units.
