Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our team on a per-diem basis. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment. This is a per-diem position with competitive pay and benefits. This position will be at our MRI Trailer in Southington.

Responsibilities:

- Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images

- Prepare patients for MRI procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety

- Position patients correctly and apply appropriate immobilization devices as needed

- Administer contrast agents when necessary, following proper protocols

- Monitor patients during procedures and address any concerns or reactions

- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation of images

- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed

- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist

- Proficient in performing aseptic techniques to prevent infection

- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy

- Experience with X-Ray and other medical imaging modalities is a plus

Qualifications:

- Valid certification as an MRI Technologist, ARRT (MRI)

- Current licensure in CT

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
