The Practice is looking for a highly motivated radiology technologist or surgical scrub technician that is willing to dive into the world of Interventional Radiology working 30+ a week with _*no call, no holidays, and no weekend hours with competive pay*_. Our Interventional Radiologists are world renown and maintain exceptional patient care, and our team is strong and supportive.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare procedure room, set up sterile trays.
* Assist physicians with procedures, handing wires, catheters, and other sterile supplies.
* Maintain a sterile environment to prevent patient infection.
* Help with inventory management, stocking supplies, and ordering of supplies as caseload permits.
* Documentation of procedures, reporting radiation dosage and contrast usage.
* Responsible for having all necessary supplies and x-ray equipment is ready and available for each assigned case in collaboration with the Lead IR technologist, RN, and/or physician.
* Ensure IR Lab turnover is done in a timely manner and cost effectiveness and conversation are observed when opening supplies for cases.
* Maintains patient safety through surveillance of all practices in the IR Lab.
* Follows all safety rules while on the job. Reports all accidents and corrects minor safety hazards. Communicates with peers and management regarding any hazards identified in the workplace.
Requirements:

* Registered/certified Radiology Technologist/ARRT preferred
* Registered Vascular Interventional (or equivalent) certification preferred
* Bachelor or Associates Degree in related field preferred
* ACLS/BLS Certification required
* 1-2 years related experience preferred, training will be provided
* Ability to work well with providers, staff, patients and vendors
* Responsible for providing surgical scrub duties, and running of the x-ray equipment
