A brief overview: Cadbury Commons is a family-owned Assisted Living, and is seeking to hire a Wellness Nurse. Cadbury Commons is in the heart of Cambridge between Porter Sq and Alewife. Cadbury Commons has been in business for 29 years.

This is a unique opportunity for a Nurse with experience and understanding of supporting personal care worker staff, residents, and reports directly to Resident Care Director.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Supervise care staff in accordance with current state regulations and community policies
* Monitors the health, safety, and well-being of all residents
* Assisting in training and monitoring of medication administration
* Maintaining clinical quality assurance in accordance with federal, state and local standards
* Promote the highest degree of service to our residents while leading and demonstrating the mission of the company
* Conduct thorough resident assessments

Computer skills are a necessary aspect of this position, so the ideal candidate should have a working knowledge of Word, Excel and other software (ALIS with training). Good oral and written communication skills required and will need to interact via phone and in person with residents and family members. This position requires visibility in the community, and ability to prioritize and triage tasks.

We are a SAMM only building, so this position does not involve passing medication
