*Overview*
We are seeking a friendly and skilled Family Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team (one part time) while we transition our current providers during the November and December. This has potential to other part time employment with our clinic to provide coverage needed for vacation and leave time of our current providers. We are a private family practice using a direct primary care model as well as serving insured patients in South Tulsla. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in primary care with experience across various specialties, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and acute care. This role requires excellent clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.

*Duties*

* Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assessments of patients across all age groups.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
* Perform procedures such as suturing, IV insertion, and administering injections.
* Manage acute and chronic health conditions, including some pain management and behavioral health issues.
* Provide education to patients and families regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
* Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Utilize EMR system Elation for patient health maintenance.
* Participate in clinical research initiatives as needed.

*Requirements*

* Valid Physician Assistant license with relevant certifications.
* Valid Nurse Practitioner license with relevant certifications.
* Experience in various settings such as urgent care, emergency medicine, hospital medicine, or outpatient clinics is preferred.
* Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, CPT coding, and workers' compensation law.
* Critical care experience is highly desirable; familiarity with level I or II trauma centers is a plus.
* Proficiency in performing procedures such as hormone pellet placement, IV and blood draws, and EKG/ECG.
* Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy; ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations effectively.
* Experience with telehealth services is necessary.
* Excellent interpersonal skills for working with diverse populations including children and seniors; experience in assisted living or home care settings is beneficial.
