We are seeking a Charge Nurse to join our compassionate team at Family Health and Rehab. In this role, you will oversee nursing staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our residents. Your leadership will be vital in maintaining our mission of improving lives and exceeding expectations.
*Responsibilities*
* Supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient care activities.
* Conduct physical examinations and manage medical documentation accurately.
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
* Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
* Provide airway management and catheterization as needed.
* Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to develop individualized care plans.
* Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
* Educate patients and families on health management and wellness.
*Requirements*
* License Practical (LPN) license in the state of Kansas.
* Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas.
* Proven experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation environment preferred.
* Strong skills in medical documentation and use of eClinicalWorks software.
* Ability to perform physical examinations and airway management procedures.
* Compassionate approach to patient care with excellent communication skills.
* Experience in hospice care or assisted living is a plus.
