*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled *Physical Therapist* to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide expert patient care across various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, hospital, home health, and community care environments. This role offers an opportunity to work with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, and individuals recovering from acute or chronic conditions. The successful candidate will utilize their expertise in physiotherapy, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to develop and implement effective care plans that promote recovery and improve quality of life.
*Duties*
* Assess patients' physical conditions through comprehensive evaluations using knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
* Develop personalized care plans tailored to individual patient needs across different settings such as inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics, home health, and community care.
* Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions including trigger point therapy, orthopedics management, geriatrics care, and pediatric therapy.
* Coordinate discharge planning to ensure seamless transition of care from hospital to home or community environments.
* Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to optimize recovery outcomes.
* Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, injury prevention, and health maintenance strategies.
* Document patient interactions accurately using electronic medical records (EMR systems) in compliance with healthcare regulations.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with advances in physiotherapy practices and techniques.
*Requirements*
* Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the relevant state or region.
* Proven experience in acute care, inpatient settings, outpatient clinics, or home & community care environments.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy.
* Experience with care planning for diverse populations including pediatrics and geriatrics.
* Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and patient management.
* Ability to work effectively in hospital settings with a focus on orthopedics and outpatient services.
* Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration.
* Experience with discharge planning and developing comprehensive care plans for various clinical scenarios.
