*Overview*
Looking for a friendly dental hygienist to join the team at Cascade Family Dental. The primary role will be assessing oral hygiene, providing quality care and patient education, and building a positive relationship with patients.
*What you'll do*
* Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs to ensure safe and effective care.
* Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing while utilizing aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide tailored recommendations for at-home care.
* Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Maintain infection control protocols and ensure the dental clinic is organized and equipped for optimal patient care.
*Basic qualifications*
* Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices.
* Familiarity with Eaglesoft or Dentrix software for managing patient records and scheduling appointments.
