*About the Role:*
We are urgently seeking a *Registered Nurse (RN)* with *extensive Home Health Agency experience* to join our team as an *Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON).* This is a critical leadership role focused on *pediatric and intermittent care*, staff supervision, and ensuring compliance with *State, Medicare, Medicaid, and Joint Commission standards.*
*Top Priorities for This Role*
* *Must have recent experience in a Home Health Agency* (not hospitals, rehab, or nursing homes).
* *Strong background in pediatric and intermittent case management.*
* *Proven ability to supervise and schedule field RNs.*
* *Hands-on experience with accreditation processes* (State, Medicare, Medicaid, Joint Commission).
* *Expertise in Quality Assurance and staff orientation.*
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Supervise and support field nursing staff across pediatric and intermittent care cases.
* Schedule field RNs to ensure timely case openings and continuity of care.
* Conduct orientation and training for field staff (caregivers and nurses).
* Oversee Quality Assurance and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
* Assist the Administrator with operational duties and strategic initiatives.
* Collaborate with intake coordinators to ensure smooth onboarding of new patients.
* Interview and evaluate field nurses for hiring and performance.
* Maintain accreditation standards and prepare for audits and reviews.
*Qualifications:*
* Active *RN license in Pennsylvania* (BSN preferred)
* Minimum *3-5 years of experience in a Home Health Agency*
* Prior experience in a supervisory or ADON role
* Familiarity with *EMR systems* and home health documentation standards
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
