*Job Overview* : The Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech) plays a vital role in supporting the diagnostic and procedural needs of our pain management clinic by producing high-quality medical images that assist providers in evaluating and treating musculoskeletal and spine-related conditions. This position is responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures safely and efficiently while ensuring patient comfort, accuracy, and compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards.

*Key Responsibilities*
* Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures as ordered by providers.
* Operate X-ray and fluoroscopy equipment to obtain diagnostic images of high quality.
* Verify patient identity and obtain necessary consents prior to imaging.
* Maintain accurate patient and imaging records within the EMR system.
* Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control procedures.
* Perform quality assurance checks on imaging equipment.
* Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to ensure timely workflow.
* Comply with Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI), ARRT, and HIPAA regulations).
*Licensure/Certification:*
* Current Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) license.
* ARRT certification in Radiography (R).
* Current BLS certification.
*Experience*
* 2+ Years of Work experience as a Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech).
* A degree or certification in Radiologic Technology or a related field is required.
* Proven experience in diagnostic radiology, including emergency medicine or urgent care settings is preferred.
* Strong understanding of medical terminology related to radiology practices is essential.
* Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
