We are currently seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team and deliver behavioral health services at one of our tribal partner facilities. This is more than just a position-it's an opportunity to create meaningful impact and serve Native American communities with integrity, respect, and cultural humility.
*Overview*
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) will serve as part of a multidisciplinary behavioral health team providing comprehensive behavioral health therapy, crisis intervention and case management for individuals and families within Navajo Nation communities. The clinician will play a key role in supporting mental health, resilience, and well-being through culturally responsive care.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Provide diagnostic assessments and psychotherapy to adults, adolescents, and families.
* Develop individualized treatment plans addressing psychosocial and behavioral health needs.
* Deliver short-term crisis counseling and coordinate emergency referrals.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for integrated treatment approaches.
* Document encounters and progress notes per IHS and Joint Commission standards.
* Participate in clinical meetings, quality assurance, and performance improvement.
*Qualifications*
* Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
* Current, unrestricted LCSW license in a U.S. state or territory.
* BLS certification required.
* Minimum 2 years of direct clinical experience required.
* Must meet IHS credentialing and privileging requirements prior to start.
*Ideal Candidate*
* Demonstrated experience in trauma-informed care and/or community mental health settings.
* Culturally sensitive, adaptable, and experienced working in cross-cultural or tribal health environments.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Bilingual (English/Navajo) strongly preferred.
*Compensation & Schedule*
* Compensation: Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience and contract terms.
* Benefits: Housing and travel support provided where applicable.
* Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, with opportunities for telehealth coverage.
