Whole Child Wellness (WCW) is a quaint, pediatric outpatient therapy practice dedicated to empowering kids and families through occupational therapy, speech therapy, and mindful movement. We believe in whole-child care, playful interventions, and helping children thrive in every area of life. WCW is owned by an occupational therapist who specializes in sensory integration and DIR-Floortime for neurodiverse children. We are looking to expand therapy options for our clients! The Clinical Lead, SLP, will primarily provide evaluations and therapy to children with speech/language/communication disorders and feeding disorders. 10-25% of the SLP's duties each week will include assisting with marketing and leadership tasks to facilitate growth of our Speech Therapy Department.

*What You'll Do:*

* Demonstrate leadership skills, creativity, and excitement to support the growth of our Speech Language Pathology Department through marketing and managerial tasks.
* Provide speech and language, articulation, feeding, and AAC evaluations and speech therapy
* Engage families in treatment planning and home carryover strategies
* Efficiently document services in compliance with insurance and clinic standards
* Maintain professional credentials: ASHA CCCs and additional credentials that adhere to professional ethics and standards of best practice and rules of healthcare provision.

*Required Credentials*

Qualifications

* 2 years pediatric experience
* Excellent leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
* Long term focus on expanding speech therapy services within our region and within the clinic (we will provide the marketing materials and potential referral sources and a small portion of the job will include marketing Whole Child Wellness Speech Therapy Services).
* Commitment to delivering compassionate, playful, and evidence-based care.
* Familiarity with assessment tools and techniques for pediatric populations.
* Patience, empathy, and strength-based therapist who values neurodiversity

Requirements:

* Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from an accredited institution.
* *South Dakota SLP license* and national certification (e.g. ASHA CCC-SLP) is required and additional credentials will be maintained as agreed upon, and adhere to professional ethics and standards of best practice and rules of healthcare provision.
* Experience or specialization in pediatric speech and language therapy is REQUIRED
