Arkansas Children's Northwest is growing—and we're looking for a skilled, compassionate *Ultrasound Technologist* to join our Radiology team. If you're an expert Sonographer who thrives in a patient-centered environment and enjoys mentoring others, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on child health in our region.

*What You Will Do*

* Perform high-quality routine and specialized diagnostic ultrasound exams as requested by Radiologists.
* Recognize urgent or critical findings and communicate them promptly to the interpreting Radiologist.
* Serve as a *Preceptor* to new team members and students, offering guidance, support, and hands-on training.
* Assist as *Lead Technologist* when needed.
* Explain procedures clearly and compassionately to patients and families.
* Support equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and service recovery.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
* Participate in departmental performance improvement initiatives.
* Demonstrate expertise in sonography equipment, protocols, and best practices—and actively share that knowledge with the team.
* Perform additional duties as assigned.

*What We're Looking For*

*Education:*

* Required: Associate's degree (or equivalent two-year program), technical school training, or nursing diploma
* Preferred: Bachelor's degree

*Experience:*

* Required: Minimum of 6 years of direct experience
* Preferred: Pediatric experience

*Certification (one required):*

* RDMS (PS) - ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography)

*Preferred Certifications:*

* ARRT R.T.(S) or R.T.(VS)
* RDMS specialties (AB, OB/GYN, RVT, VT)
