*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled physical therapist who appreciate working 1 on 1 with clients to meet their functional goals. We are interested in hiring individuals who are passionate about the work they do. You will work alongside an occupational therapist to be the main therapy providers of an assisted living facility. Your patients will need your help in meeting their functional goals including maintaining their level of functional independence, improve their level of gait, and reduce their risk for falls. You will have access to a therapy gym, where you are encouraged to be creative with your treatment sessions to meet the needs of each individual patient. We are looking for individuals who possess strong communication skills both with patients, their family members, and the nursing team present in the building. *Duties*

* Evaluate patients' physical abilities and limitations through comprehensive assessments.
* Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs and goals.
* Implement treatment programs that may include exercises, manual therapy, and gait training to enhance recovery.
* Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
* Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes, exercises, and self-care strategies.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with medical standards.

*Requirements*

* Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
* Valid state licensure to practice physical therapy.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and physical therapy techniques.
* Proficiency in developing effective care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
* Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams.
* Ability to demonstrate empathy and compassion while providing patient care.

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $77,000.00 - $103,500.00 per year
