We are looking to add another speech therapist to join our already established speech therapy team. We have an amazing in-house therapy team - we are not a contract therapy company. All department teams work for the facility and share the same goals. This is a full-time hourly position responsible for evaluating and treating patients with communication, cognitive, voice, language and swallowing disorders. We utilize the IDDSI standard diet and we are open to all experience levels.

The Healthcare Resort of Topeka has a great reputation and great connections within in the Topeka community we serve. Help us expand therapy programming to include Abilities Care (cognition), ACP programs, Big and Loud/ LSVT (Parkinson's), Amp Care, Vital stim and caring for patients with communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders. As a speech therapy professional, you will have the freedom to create and implement additional programs to best meet the needs of the patients in this facility. Opportunities for sub-acute rehab, outpatient services and long term care programming. Our therapy team expansion will be a strong focus, and you will receive strong orientation, training and on-going support as we grow. As a speech therapist you will assess treatment outcomes, offer support, implement plans of care and provide a comprehensive safe discharge. A SLP license is required.

* Qualifications: Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
