What You'll Bring:

• Active California license and CA DEA registration
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner with ACNP credential or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C)
• Prior experience in general surgery
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to commit to at least 2 weeks on/off availability, with shifts of 10 hours (8 am - 6 pm)
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and professionalism

Nice to Have:

• Experience with hospital privileges and surgical case logs
• Familiarity with hospital privileging processes
• Additional certifications or specialized skills in surgical care

Preferred Education & Experience:

• PA-C with general surgery experience or
• NP with ACNP certification and relevant surgical background
• Board-certified or board-eligible providers within 3-5 years of residency

Other Requirements:

• Valid California medical license and DEA
• Ability to coordinate travel arrangements, including airport parking and local transportation to and from hospital
• Commitment to maintaining a clean file and updated CV with hospital affiliations to facilitate privileging processes
