Position Overview

MyCardiologist is seeking a full-time Electrophysiologist to join our growing physician-led cardiovascular practice serving Boca Raton. This role includes dedicated electrophysiology responsibilities across clinic and hospital settings with exposure to both bread-and-butter and complex EP procedures.

Key responsibilities/services include:

• Diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias, both standard and complex
• Performance of routine and complex catheter ablations
• Implantation and management of cardiac devices
• Electrophysiology studies, intracardiac mapping, remote monitoring, and comprehensive inpatient/outpatient EP care
• Opportunities for watchman implantation and other electrophysiology-related structural heart procedures

The incoming physician will primarily work within our Boca Raton clinic and affiliated hospitals. Shared general call responsibilities provide balanced physician support and work-life integration.

Compensation includes a competitive base salary, production incentives, additional incentives sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, and partnership/equity opportunities.

Qualifications

• Electrophysiology Fellowship Program
• Board Certified in Cardiovascular Medicine
• Completion of accredited Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, and Electrophysiology training programs
• MD or DO
• Eligible for Florida medical licensure
• Open to experienced Electrophysiologists and current fellows
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and quality improvement

Our practice was started in 1960 by Dr. Bernard Silverstein. In 2007, it moved to its current location in the Medical Arts Building of the South Miami Hospital complex.

Members of our group have served in medical leadership positions in the hospital and community to ensure continued access to excellent medical and cardiac care, also providing lectures to the community on cardiac wellness and prevention.

In addition to regular or annual check-ups, patients come to us for routine monitoring, sophisticated diagnostic testing, and pre- and post-operative care. We offer many specialized tests in our office to diagnose whether a person has cardiovascular disease and how it is affecting them. We also see many patients who are referred by other physicians for evaluation.

We pride ourselves on being respectful of our patients’ time and patients who arrive on time for their appointments rarely wait more than 20 minutes before seeing a doctor. While the office maintains regular Monday-Friday hours, the physicians are available around the clock for emergencies.
