Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Urology Physician to provide comprehensive urological care at our hospital, supporting a wide range of procedures—from routine cystoscopies to complex robotic surgeries. The role involves 24-hour call coverage, supporting emergency cases and elective procedures, and working closely with advanced practice providers in a collaborative environment. This is an excellent opportunity for both seasoned professionals and new graduates eager to expand their clinical experience in a progressive healthcare setting.

Required Skills
  • Board Certification or Board Eligible in Urology
  • Active and valid PA License (preferred for quicker onboarding) or licensure in applicable state
  • DEA certification
  • Minimum of 1 year Urology practice experience
  • Proficiency in core urological procedures: vasectomy, cystoscopy, prostate procedures, ureteroscopy, penile implants, lithotripsy, circumcision, and orchiopexy
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and procedural skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and adapt to urgent patient needs

Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience with robotic surgical procedures
  • Prior experience supervising advanced practice providers (NPs/PAs)
  • Ability to perform Urology reversals (vasectomy reversal)
  • Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
  • Experience managing pediatric urological cases on rare occasions

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Preferably licensed in Pennsylvania or eligible for licensure
  • At least one year of post-residency clinical practice in urology; new graduates considered with strong academic background and rotations

Other Requirements
  • Willingness to participate in 24-hour on-call shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to support occasional pediatric urological cases and emergency torsion presentations
  • Commitment to maintaining credentials, certifications, and licensure in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Availability for credentialing process, estimated at approximately 90 days; temporary license options available for qualified candidates
